Pontefract Dogs Home would like to thank Yorkshire Building Society Castleford and Pontefract branch and Tesco supermarket in Pontefract and all clients for their kind generous donations of Dog food, Blankets, Dog Coats for all our homeless dogs.
Pontefract Dogs Home is a family run rescue relying on public donations to help us carry on our work. We take in abandoned dogs and puppies and guarantee to find them permanent caring homes.
Also we rehome family dogs their owners are no longer able to keep due to unforeseen circumstances. We have a non destruct policy and all dogs that come into our care are given the best support and we offer a permanent home for life at our country kennels.
We vet check, vaccinate and microchip all dogs and promote responsible pet ownership.
Our rescue kennels are set in 10 acres of countryside and we have heated kennels and cater for all sizes of dogs from chihuahua to Great Dane.
